Missional Training #4 – Connecting over common interests


Watch this short video: 

  1. How does the church often keep us from the very people we’re supposed to meet?  How have you had to give up relationships or opportunities for church activities?
  2. How do you think Missional Communities could keep you with greater contact with people who need to know Jesus?
  3. Who in your life have you neglected to pursue your own priorities or your own spiritual nurishment?  How can you reconnect with those people?
  4. What skills, interests, and passions do you have that could be used to form relationships with the unchurched?

This week, begin praying for a few unchurched friends, make contact with a couple of them, and make plans to meet with them in the coming weeks.  Also, Continue reading The Gospel-Centred Life with Chapter 4, A life of Miricles.  Read it, return to it, live it and we’ll discuss it next week.
